Barbara Bush, a former First Lady of the United States from 1989-1993 and wife of the George H. W. Bush, the 41st President, died on April 17, 2018.
She also served as the Second Lady of the United States when her husband was Vice President from 1981-1989.
She was also the mother of the George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, becoming the 2nd woman is US history to have had a husband and son serve as US Presidents.
She had 6 children and was a devloted and beloved mother and wife.
She was highly respected all over the world and dedicated much of her life to promoting and spreading literacy.
She and her husband of 73+ years held the record for the longest marriage in presidential history.
Barbara is survived by her husband, George H.W.; sons George W., Neil, Marvin and Jeb; daughter, Dorothy Bush Koch; and 17 grandchildren.
